Our Story
Call it Your Own was born from our director Connor’s passion for property, which was cultivated during his time in the construction industry. With a background in advising architects, main contractors, and house builders, and working closely with building control, Connor noticed a common thread among his clients—many were landlords. Intrigued by their experiences, he began to uncover recurring challenges.
Landlords, especially those with construction backgrounds, often found property management to be time-consuming and lacked trust in traditional letting agents, viewing them merely as tenant finders. Frustrations grew over issues like property maintenance, poor workmanship, and inflated material and labor costs.
We emerged as a solution to these challenges by prioritizing transparent, market-rate maintenance services and empowering landlords to reclaim their time, allowing them to focus on what truly matters.
